Welcome to Palmy!

The secret is out. Palm Beach is the place to be. Visitors from all across Australia are choosing to holiday here now, and we can’t blame them. The beaches are perfection, the waves are next level and the chilled out vibe our little town offers is contagious. It’s a relaxed little place, yet there’s a buzzing foodie scene that has recently accelerated. Come and reconnect with nature. Let the salty air and warm sun soothe the senses. Welcome to your seaside escape, it’s time to relax.

We are spoilt for choice here on the Gold Coast, boasting some of the world’s best beaches. While local patrolled Palm Beach is a 400m stroll from the property, we also neighbour with a number of must see swimming spots. From the famous sheltered waters of Echo beach at Tallebudgera Creek, to the pumping surf at Burleigh Heads and the beginner waves at Currumbin, it’s all here, waiting for you to enjoy.

eat & drink

Palm Beach has fast become one the Gold Coast’s hottest locations to visit for amazing food and wine. The melting pot of cuisines on offer will have your taste buds jumping for joy. For a casual family meal, we recommend Palm Beach Surf Club. Or, if it’s fine dining you prefer, try Balboa Italian or Las Palmas Bar and restaurant. For a great coffee and bite to eat, our neighbours at Third Base will look after you. But if it’s a delicious cocktail or cold drink you’re after, The Collective, The Scottish Prince or Wilderness bar are all within walking distance. Bon appétit!

shopping & markets

Every Sunday, the farmers markets are held at Palm Beach Currumbin High School. Serving a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, hot breakfasts, smoothies, baked goods, flowers and more. Around town, there are a number of boutique clothing stores open for perusal, but if it’s a bigger shopping experience you’re after, we recommend Robina Town Shopping Centre. With an exciting array of fashion, home wares, food and leisure it’s a one-stop shop for all your purchasing needs, and just a 15 minutes drive.

family fun

There’s no shortage of family fun to be had around here. Try a surf lesson at the Ally, perfect for beginners and those with a little more experience. There’s stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking and boat hire at Currumbin River, or perhaps cuddling the Koalas at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is more your style. Beautiful beachside walking trails and bike tracks can be found at Palm Beach parklands and one of the best playground/parks on the coast is at the end of the street, Laguna Park. Movie theatres, shopping centres and of course the Gold Coast’s theme parks are all easily accessible too.
